Congratulation to Masaki Ando and Honoka Kuroki! Masaki Ando is mangaka of Yatogame-chan Kansatsu Nikki. Honoka Kuroki is voice actor.

~hedy's site has a minimalist style
She used ~ tilde make me think of UNIX philosophy: "do one thing well"
She didn't write much
She started to write since 2021. And she only wrote a few posts each year.
Since 2025, I haven't seen her update new posts
I still recomend her site because it has unique style.
Her site has own personal identity
Interestingly, her site has Gemini
In my opinion, she used Gemini protocol like mirror, in parallel the website.
Follow site via RSS, Atom blogroll

Like most other OG bloggers, Graz also wrote blog post very early.
He has written since 2003, more than 20 years ago.
He focuses on technology but he also writes about book reviews and other topics.
Besides blog posts, website has notes and photos.
His website has main menu that is very simple.
He combined some pages into Slashes.
All blog posts appear on Archive page.
Andre's website uses white background and black text.
It is only blog and a member of Indieweb webring.

Today, I research about an OG blogger
He is Joe Crawford.
As his About page, he has been blogging since 2001.
His page has 9505 posts, 3308 comments, 6704 embedded images, 3710 outbound links, and about 893,825 words.
That's a large accumulation over a long time
His site has a nice header
He designed header and menu in a very retro style
Because he is web developer, the layout of website is very clear and easy to understand
His website has an interesting thing.
It has Like page. It is similar to feature on social media.
This makes his site very social web.
He also didn't ignore trend of creating reels on TikTok and Instagram. He tried to create self-hosted reels on his website.
Reel isn't problem. The problem is algorithmic feed, infinite scrolling, and autoplay.
They are addictive features
In my opinion, the advantage of personal website is that it doesn't have addictive algorithms.
Instead, we actively choose our information sources and explore them by surfing the web.
Follow him via RSS
Comment: "Hi, I see your website is a member of Indieweb Webring. I’m too. I’m following via RSS. Happy to connect!"
My feeling when I access Basil's page at the first time was it had few features.
It only had two sections on menu: blog and recent activity.
Perhaps she loves minimalism.
I'm interested in the website's background color.
An introduction at the top of the homepage.
From the avatar at the top, I guessed Basil was a girl.
Her blog has some long paragraph and small font, so they might be difficult to read.
The recent activity is interesting
She shares movies and books that she watched and read recently
I like Bear blog. Because it's simple.
When I visited reillyspitzfaden.com at the first time, my impression was that it looked very elegant.
Website's background is dark black, highlighting the white text.
He wrote blog that about both code and music.
It combines both technology and art.
"Example: This article is about MIDI file, terminal, bash script
You can send him Webmention or comment directly
Besides About page, there is Now page.
It is similar About page in feature, but it's dynamic in status.
The website is a member of both webring:Indiering and Cyberia
Follow the website via RSS, blogroll ,Fediverse, Bluesky, or support page
I see another interesting point is website use Pagefind as search tool
Question:"[Discussion] What anime you didn't initially expect to enjoy but later did?"
Comment:"One Piece. After 20 years, I’ve begun to watch it."
I think both are similar and different from some things. Indieweb is focused on personal website ideas. Small web is focused on the corner of the web.
"This is David Foley's home on the WWW".
It's title on David Foley's personal website.
He used GravCMS: https://getgrav.org/ to create it.
I like this section near footer: "David elsewhere on the web"
Online presence of David is on social media.
On Github
On keybase
On Fediverse
On Neocities
On Indieweb.org
And on Paypal :))
His site is also member of Indiering.
You can discuss with David through Mastodon , Neocities
Donate him via Paypal , Buy a coffee
Subscribe via RSS
Hope his site helps you surf funny and find various things interresting.
Yesterday, I wrote a post to response a article on site in Indiering.
This is a personal website that about Linux, self-hosting, and web development.
fullmetalbrackets is also website that about UNIX culture
As his manifesto on Homepage, topic and content are like hobby and passion for technology
I see Ariel used Astro to build HTML from md
Each category or slash page, they have number of articles.
The background of the site is white combined with gray.
Besides Indiering, the site also is member of Fediring and CSS Joy.
You can interact with the site via: RSS, blogroll, webmention, Mastodon, Bluesky, or support Ariel by Buying a coffee.
I found one interesting thing:the site has Lifestream, sharing all the media that Ariel has played, read, and watched.
