Maybe more

Local AI is different to cloud AI of Big Tech like: ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude.

1-Browser AI: run directly on Web Assembly. No hosting, no local host. Example:WebNN and WebLLM

2-Serverless inference: integrate with serverless function or endpoint. Normally, using SLM (small language model)

3-AI node in n8n: AI model or agent is one node in automation workflow.

I like them because I can control them.

Last night, I thought about Krita Scripter and n8n

Of course Krita Scripter uses Python. I like JS.

I asked both ChatGPT and Perplexity.

Can I use JS to run Krita Scripter?

Both AI chatbots answered: Yes,

Python to call Krita API and JS2Py

JS is main automation scripting.

n8n is orchestration.

- Input: RSS read, Webhook

- Integration: HTTP request

- Logic: Code and AI model

- Output: chatbot (Discord, Telegram, Slack, Matrix)

Besides hand-drawing using Krita, scripter and n8n are very interesting.

I think this idea is good.

Dave implemented Github repo for RSS.chat

In blog post today, in Fractional Horsepower Social Networks on RSS.chat section, Dave said about Github repo:

" The new RSS.chat repo on GitHub. Lots of fixes, features, docs and examples coming soon. For now all the source is there, MIT license.
And a place to report bugs and start exploring how you can contribute. This is just Day 1. Many more to come. :-)"

He officially released both source code and documentation for RSS.chat.

Just the beginning.

He will continue to update with more new information.

Then, in My Twitter/X announcement section,
Dave gave more detailed information about his ideas.

In my opinion, this is only a part of the project and a bootstrap. His goal is to bring the web back to a text-based model.

As Dave said, current social networks only support a part of the Web.

He doesn't want to be dependent on silos and wants to bring the Web back to its golden age.

We can use many applications.

His announcements are very strong and compelling.

RSS.chat will provide users a feed in the format: username.rss.network/user/feed.xml.

This is already a big step forward compared to Facebook accounts.

He didn't talk about how personal websites will participate in Feediverse. And are the social media apps federated?

Of course, this is just the start.

Let's wait and see the next announcement.

I continue to talk about Feediverse

As I said about Feediverse yesterday.

Today I'm very excited to know Dave continued to share.

He shared RSS.chat.

It's real, not a demo.

In my opinion, Feediverse will be a federated social network among RSS readers.

The website only needs RSS.

The social layer and federated protocol belong to the readers.

Users can have accounts to read and follow others. Following others lets them know which sites' RSS feeds they are following.

If users want to add new posts, they can't post like Facebook statuses.

Instead, they write blog posts on their own websites and syndicate them via RSS.

They subscribe to their own sites via RSS in the reader.

Their new blog posts will appear on the River of News in the reader.

That's my opinion about Dave's intentions based on his blog posts.

He hasn't officially announced anything yet.

He also hasn't written the specification.

Dave's way is typically to write specifications, implement them, and then the ecosystem gradually emerges.

We'll just have to wait and see.

If Feediverse succeeds, this will be a next step for the Social Web.

The website only needs to be published, then distributed via RSS.

The content will then be further distributed to Feediverse.

This aligns perfectly with the original vision of the Open Web.

Dave Winer, the author of RSS and Scripting News, one of the oldest blogs,
          invented the term "Feediverse".

He has some apps to implement: Feedland, Wordland, Drummer, Textcasting.

They are tools to start an RSS-based social network.

Feediverse is very similar to Fediverse, but uses RSS to use protocol for social networks.

He thought only add OPML, MD, SQL, WebSocket besides RSS.

Now, Feediverse is only great idea.

If it's successful, Social Web will undergo big change.

In my opinion, AI supports Indieweb in three ways:

1. Generating ideas

2. Integrating with web browsers like Firefox

3. Combining with endpoints.

Before,logic was in the endpoint.

Now, AI is added, especially SLM.

Web browsers are very powerful now.

AI can be integrated and run on WebASM.

WebASM is a browser component that runs binary files.

When the war against titans is a war against humanity

Most readers read Attack on Titan in the first part, will think it's a war between humans and monsters.
If this manga stop there, it's also interesting, but the secrets makes it so much deeper.

A world of tragedy. All main characters kill Titans or become Titans to eat or kill humans.
The tragedy began from moment the Founding Titan Ymir had Titan power.

That power, from the start, was not used for freedom. Instead, it served politic power.

King Karl Fritz and the Yeager family couldn't offer a solution to the problem.

          King Karl had good intentions.

His solution only brought peace to Paradis for 100 years.

But he didn't anticipate the world's perception being different from that intension.

Suspicion, hatred, and fear didn't disappear.

Using the power of Founding Titan to erase their memories and imprison them within three walls left they lag behind in the outside world.

It also deprived them of their right to self-determination.

The question throughout the series is whether future generations must bear the guilt of their ancestors' actions?

Instead of feeling like you're reading alone, this is a tiny presence layer so that when people are reading the same blog post, they can see others and know who's reading.

It's like a chatroom combined with manga.

The conversations are saved in the backend of the official site.

        And displayed on my website.

I'm learning more and intend to gradually self-host.

This is a real-time chat on the website and can disappear after the reader leaves.

There is a discussion topic on Hacker News.
