Today, I learn more 3 new things about RSS

First, Vivaldi is unique browser nowadays that supports RSS feed reader.

I can follow feed and read on Vivaldi.

Most browsers didn’t support this feature.

Second, XSLT.

If browser doesn’t RSS, we still read by XSLT.

XSLT doesn’t render RSS but is interface for RSS.

More extractively, XML.

XSLT helps XML-view more beautiful.

Only need one XSL file (.xsl), browser can render XML.

Finally, RSC or Really Simple Conversations.

It’s a feeds-native social timeline.

I just found out..two-way RSS: outbound and inbound.

RSC receives inbound RSS then renders like post on timeline.

We can like, repost, reply.

WordPress.com Reader, Micro.blog, Feedland, Microsub client like Monocle, Together, PADD or RSS.chat, Textcaster are examples of RSC.

LiveJournal, Dreamwidth, Tumblr, FriendFeed (defunct) and Nekoweb are fewer features.

Only internal RSS in service.

RSC is a new concept. And it’s very interesting and good enough.
